Holistic health has always been a passion for Ashley. An energetic sporting youth meant many visits to the family Chiropractor in order to return to the sporting field or running track. What Ashley didn’t notice initially was that whilst his sports injuries were benefiting from Chiropractic treatments, so was his asthma.
But sometimes life and distractions get in the way. A healthy and vital lifestyle gave way to excessive (at times far from healthy) living and fun-loving times at University studying a Bachelor of Science. Chiropractic dreams were put on hold for a career in the Pharmaceutical Industry. All this did was to instil in Ashley the desire to treat people in a more holistic and natural way and following a chance phone call with a former College roommate he applied to do Chiropractic at Macquarie University and commenced the following week.
That was 1999. I studied part-time at Macquarie and following graduation in 2007 commenced working as an Associate in Nowra as well as Leichhardt. Soon following Ashley focused all his attention on Nowra and a recent relocation to Wollongong from Sydney has enabled him to work in a city he used to call home.
Ashley’s philosophy revolves around patient focused holistic healthcare. Being a Chiropractor the importance of the structure governing function is central to his core beliefs. Of equal importance are chemical and spiritual wellbeing and the interplay between the three determines ones overall health status.
